Valley Bible Baptist Church in beautiful Packwood, Washington seeks a Pastor. Packwood is a small unincorporated community located in the southwestern Cascades at an elevation of about 1,000 feet. We are on the White Pass Scenic Byway near White Pass ski area, the Pacific Crest Trail, Mount Rainer National Park, and several National Forests. Packwood is central to outdoor activities and the area is home to over 1000 residents and numerous weekend/vacation homes and short term rentals.

We are a rural, small, growing, Baptist church established in 2013. We have approximately 12 to 25 people with a desire to grow and reach our community and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are comprised of seniors, retirees, couples, singles, and families with school aged children. We currently use traditional hymnals. We seek a pastor who will be our spiritual leader, teach us, and pray for us. One who will seek God and God’s purpose for His church.

Candidate should be a pastoral experienced man with seminary or bible college degree preferred, and knowledge of the Baptist Doctrine. He must agree with our “We Believe” statement of faith. A man who believes that the Bible is the infallible inerrant Word of God. The pastor is to be reasonably available for typical pastoral duties. Duties would include Sunday Morning Worship plus one weekday evening, at a minimum with duties on other days flexible. Compensation negotiable, but candidate may need to be bi‑vocational or have other augmenting income source. Successful candidate should be willing to consent to background and reference checks.
